Organic wines of Ventoux

The vineyard of Château la Croix des Pins extends over 22 hectares surrounding the building of the estate.

The wines boast a unique terroir composed of sediments deposited by the sea of the tertiary era and which constitute the structure of the Massif Limestone of the Mont Ventoux. The microclimate linked to the proximity of the Mont Ventoux brings an exceptional biodiversity. Classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1990, the site of the Mont Ventoux serves as a showcase for lands cultivated with respect for nature and the cultural and historical heritage of the region.

This exceptional character pervades the wines of Château la Croix des Pins.

  • The red wines, mainly composed of Grenache noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre are sometimes accompanied by Cinsault and Carignan. The wine are supple and rich with aromas of red fruits, spices, leather, licorice and truffles.
  • The rosés are light, long in the mouth combining elegance and small red fruits, perfect for a beautiful summer evening.
  • The white wines are fresh, reminiscent of linden, white flowers and citrus fruits. They consist mainly of White Grenache, Roussanne, Clairette and Vermentino.

The multitude of grape varieties and the richness of terroirs bring a unique personality to the wines of Château la Croix des Pins, within the appellation area of the AOP Ventoux.
