Concours AOC Ventoux 2021

Concours AOC Ventoux 2021

The Competition

Like every year, Château la Croix des Pins presents its new AOC Ventoux vintages at the AOC Ventoux Competition, which aims to judge the quality of the AOC Ventoux wines produced during the year, by tasting the AOC Ventoux wines presented by the different estates.

This year, Château la Croix des Pins has chosen to present its red Trois Villages 2019, its Tête à l'Envers 2020 and its Trois Villages rosé 2021.

The wines presented

The red Trois Villages 2019, composed of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre is a still red wine, vinified by grape variety to allow each one to give the best of itself, and thus optimize the final product. We also find in the shaping of this wine, a post-fermentation maceration of two weeks for an extraction of fruity aromas and obtaining a light structure, as well as a beautiful "drinkability". Floral and spicy scents, aromas of blackberries and caramelized strawberries, this is what characterizes this Ventoux Bio, sublimated by a full mouth, with beautiful bitters and always this point of red fruits and black pepper.

An easy to drink organic red wine that will be a consensus among your friends during your aperitifs, but also during your improvised meals!

La Tête à l'Envers red 2020 is a "black" wine without added sulfites. A unique wine in the world. This organic wine without sulfites is mainly made from Marselan. It is with the principle of "Bio Protection" that we preserve this wine, overpointe, in the champenoise style, for a hermetization of the bottle by the lees put back in the bottle after filtration of the wine. Recognizable by its color, the Tête à l'Envers 2020 is a deep, brilliant wine, surprising in the mouth. There are powerful notes of dark chocolate, sweet almonds, and crushed blackberries in the scent, as well as silky tannins and a round, supple mouthfeel.

This organic red wine without sulfites will be perfect to accompany your chocolate - pear desserts, as well as dishes such as pasta with pesto!

The Trois Villages rosé 2021 is born from the combination of grape varieties such as Syrah, Vermentino, Cinsault and Grenache noir to offer you a beautiful lychee colored rosé, whose nose is charming and greedy, the mouth crisp, salty and fruity, like a real refined cocktail of exotic fruits. The whole, while being perfectly balanced and elegant. One glass calls for another.

This organic rosé wine will make your summer aperitifs incomparable, but above all unforgettable.
